Northwell Health and CarbGeM enter collaboration in the field of bacterial infection disease using image recognition AI.

CarbGeM Inc. announced today the start of a collaborative study with Northwell Health, New York’s largest private health care provider, aiming to improve the accuracy of bacterial infections diagnosis using image recognition AI.

In this study, the diagnostics results of urinary gram stain images by CarbGeM’s image recognition AI will be verified by principal investigator Koichiro Shinozaki, MD, PhD, at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research – the research home of Northwell Health — using professional knowledge and skills.
