Nugent Score AI is equipped with an advanced AI model co-developed by CarbGeM and the Clinical Laboratory Department of Kameda Medical Center* (Location: Kamogawa, Chiba; Representative: Takaaki Kameda). This application has been meticulously designed to deliver both accuracy and practicality. It integrates seamlessly with the CarbConnect® cloud-based AI imaging platform and is available as a Research Use Only (RUO) application.
The research findings underlying the development of this application have been published in the prestigious Microbiology Spectrum journal by the American Society for Microbiology. The study highlights the potential of deep learning models to predict Nugent Scores and support the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis.

However, manual scoring often faces challenges in consistency and efficiency. Nugent Score AI addresses these issues by leveraging AI technology to support scoring and streamline analysis.
