Specializes in post-cardiopulmonary resuscitation syndrome, ischemia-reperfusion injury, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxygen metabolism. Published more than 60 English papers in the critical care and emergency field. While having an excellent track record as a clinician, he conducts clinical and fundamental research in the latest fields that integrate medical care and science.
Graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine in 2002. After enrolling in the emergency department and intensive care unit of Chiba University Hospital, he studied abroad at the Center for Resuscitation Science of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States in 2013. Then transferred to the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research in New York in 2015. Obtained the United States Medical Licensing in 2017. He has been an assistant professor at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center since 2021.
