背景
Ruthenibacterium lactatiformans （R. lactatiformans）は、Oscillospiraceae科のグラム染色陰性の桿状偏性嫌気性細菌であるが、ヒトに対する感染は今まで報告されていなかった。 本研究では、椎骨骨髄炎患者におけるR. lactatiformansによる菌血症および脊椎骨髄炎の症例を報告する。
