はじめに
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens（B. amyloliquefaciens） はグラム陽性細菌であり、ヒトおよび動物においてプロバイオティクスとして利用されているが、犬における感染性心内膜炎（IE：infective endocarditis）の報告はない。本症例はB. amyloliquefaciensによる細菌血症性感染症に起因する犬における初めての症例である。
