(Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Masakazu Nakajima; hereinafter “CarbGem”), a developer of AI-powered infectious disease diagnostic support solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as an exhibitor in the Japan Pavilion organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) at “WHX Dubai 2026 (World Health Expo, formerly Arab Health),” one of the world’s largest healthcare exhibitions, to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 9, 2026.
WHX Dubai, formerly known as Arab Health, has a history of more than 50 years and is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and Africa, attracting approximately 68,000 healthcare professionals and buyers from over 180 countries (2025 results). With its renewed name, the exhibition has evolved into a global platform aimed at solving healthcare challenges worldwide.
Under its mission, “Freeing the world from the threat of infectious diseases,” CarbGem has been developing proprietary AI technologies for bacterial infection image analysis. Strengthening clinical diagnostic infrastructure, including efforts to address the global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), is an urgent cross-border challenge. In the rapidly developing healthcare markets of the Middle East, demand is increasing for fast, accurate, and AI-driven infectious disease diagnostic solutions.
Through its selection as a member of the Japan Pavilion following JETRO’s rigorous screening process, CarbGem aims to enhance international recognition of its technologies and strengthen collaboration with partners in the Middle East and around the world.
