CarbGeM Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masakazu Nakajima; hereinafter “CarbGeM”) is pleased to announce that our director, Makoto Taketani, presented two research topics at “ASM Microbe 2025,” held from June 19 to 23, 2025, in Los Angeles, USA.
This year, two of our research studies were selected for poster presentation. The first study featured our cloud-based AI image analysis platform CarbConnect®, and the second study focused on the Bacterial Growth Monitor (BGM), a novel technology for real-time, quantitative measurement of microbial growth on solid agar media.
CarbConnect® is a platform that enables secure image storage and real-time communication, supporting imaging applications in both clinical and research environments. As an AI-powered tool, it is designed to reduce human error and improve efficiency in microbiological testing, driving digital transformation (DX) in laboratory operations.
