Triple I was endorsed at the G7 Hiroshima Summit in May 2023 and was officially launched in September of the same year during the United Nations General Assembly. The initiative aims to enhance sustainable financing and socially impactful business practices in the global health sector, with the Government of Japan serving as the secretariat through 2025.
CarbGeM’s mission is to tackle global health challenges through innovation at the intersection of AI and biotechnology. The company has advanced the development and deployment of AI-powered image analysis and cloud-based diagnostic support tools to promote sophisticated and standardized healthcare.
One of CarbGeM’s core solutions is CarbConnect®, a cloud-based digital platform for AI image analysis. This platform enables real-time uploading, analysis, and sharing of medical images—even in remote or resource-limited settings. As a member of Triple I, CarbGeM will collaborate with other member organizations to help address global health disparities—especially in the Global South—by supporting improvements in medical access and the implementation of diagnostic infrastructure for infectious diseases.
