CarbGeM Announces New Clinical and Pre-Clinical Data at IDWeek 2023.

TOKYO, Japan, October 10, 2023 — CarbGeM Inc, a Japan-based startup focused on AI-based diagnostics, today announced four presentations addressing the problem of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) will be featured at the IDWeek taking place, October 11-15, 2023, in Boston.

Featured presentations include pre-clinical and early clinical results from the company’s ongoing study of the AI-based smartphone app, BiTTE, which estimates the bacterial species in a Gram-stained sample, as well as a new thin-film transistor (TFT) image sensor that monitors bacterial growth on agar plates.
